Job Description :
The Oracle Application System Specialist will be responsible for managing a dynamic queue of support cases related to back office financial systems with an emphasis on Oracle eBusiness Suite. Working as a member of the Accounting Systems and Processes group, the analyst will be responsible for administering all aspects of the Oracle eBusiness solution, Sabrix, Coupa, Concur among others.
The successful candidate will have a good knowledge and experience supporting and Implementing Oracle Financials. He or she will have demonstrated experience in managing support processes and resolving complex functional cases, with a strong customer focus. The successful candidate will also have proven expertise in building efficient business processes that improve end-user productivity while maintaining appropriate controls within a Sarbanes-Oxley compliant business environment.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
6-8 years functional experience implementing and supporting Oracle eBusiness with emphasis on the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Asset, Purchasing and System Administrator Modules;
– Experience supporting ADI;
– Ability to use Oracle SQL plus, TOAD to analyze the underlying data in the table;
– Familiarity with Accounting and Financial Processes;
– Demonstrated ability to build and execute efficient business processes and methodologies;
– Strong analytical skills and functional troubleshooting skills;
– Proven ability in relationship management building productive partnerships with customers and IT;
– Ability to juggle multiple projects & tasks and successfully prioritize and deliver results in the face of competing business interests;
– Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment;
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance or computer science;
– Intermediate position.
DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
– Ability to articulate and document customer business requirements;
– Familiarity with Software Release Management principles and methodology.
